Missy Peregrym stars as Special Agent Maggie Bell on FBI, which is in its eighth season.

Peregrym has captivated audiences since her feature film debut as a rebellious gymnast in the film “Stick It” and she has continued to develop her craft as a successful actor in both film and television ever since. As one of the stars of ABC’s “Rookie Blue” for six seasons, she reminded audiences that she is both tough and vulnerable.

Peregrym began her career as a model when she was 18 years old. She landed her first television role as a guest star on the action-drama series “Dark Angel.” Her additional television credits include starring roles on the series “Reaper” and “Life as We Know It,” recurring roles on “Heroes,” “Ten Days in the Valley” and “Van Helsing,” and guest-starring roles on HAWAII FIVE-0, on the Network, and “The Night Shift,” among many others.

Her film work includes “Backcountry,” which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015, and “Cybergeddon,” Yahoo’s first digitally released movie in 2012. In late 2024, she starred in the survival thriller “Out Come the Wolves.”

Peregrym has earned numerous accolades, including the International Achievement Award at the 2023 WIFT Toronto Crystal Awards, recognition as one of Playback’s “Top 10 to Watch” at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival, and the Maple of Excellence for Outstanding Acting Achievement at the 2016 Golden Maple Awards. She also won Best Female Performance in a Drama at the 2013 Streamy Awards for “Cybergeddon.”

Peregrym is a native of Canada, born in Montreal and raised in Vancouver. After being cast in FBI, Peregrym moved from Los Angeles to New York City, where she now lives full time with her husband, son and daughter. Her birthday is June 16. Follow her on Instagram @mperegrym.
