John Boyd stars as Special Agent Stuart Scola on the hit CBS series FBI, which is in its eighth season. Boyd joined FBI at the start of its second season.

Prior to his role in FBI, Boyd was a series regular on FOX’s long-running hit series “Bones,” as well as the acclaimed fan favorite “24.”

His feature credits include the action thriller “Peppermint” opposite Jennifer Garner, Todd Haynes’ “Wonderstruck” opposite Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams, the Academy Award winning film “Argo” opposite Ben Affleck and Bryan Cranston, M. Night Shyamalan’s “Lady in the Water” and Mary Harron’s “The Notorious Bettie Page,” among others. 

A lifelong musician, Boyd recently released his first single titled “Feather and Stone” (out now on Spotify). All lyrics and music are by Boyd. His take on traditional folk music has been universally praised.
