“Perfect Playmates” Three families arrive at the Animal Welfare League in search of the perfect playmate for their kids. A mom hopes to give her two sons a best friend but worries that a staffie named Harley is too big for them. A family thinks a border collie mix named Parmigiana could be a great companion for their son. And an active family falls in love with Gibbs, an energetic dog who loves to play fetch. (NEW)

“Dating, Dinos and Dinners of the Future” – Join a high school robotics team as they participate in a robotics competition. Discover how animals “date” in the wild kingdom. The CBS WKND block is FCC educational/informational (E/I) compliant, targeted to 13- to 16-year-olds and appealing to all viewers. All the programs are specifically designed to further the educational and informational needs of children, have educating and informing children as a significant purpose, and otherwise meet the definition of Core Programming as specified in the Commission’s rules.
