Mika Amonsen is one of Canada’s fast-rising talents in film and television. He stars opposite Alan Ritchson in hit series “Reacher” and appeared alongside Patrick Dempsey and Rick Hoffman in Eli Roth’s acclaimed horror film “Thanksgiving.” He will next be seen in Corin Hardy’s “Whistle,” alongside Dafne Keen and Nick Frost.

 

Amonsen found early creative success as the lead guitarist of a Toronto-area rock band. The group produced a 10-track album, performed across local venues and opened for Canadian legend Kim Mitchell. He later transitioned to acting, discovering a passion for storytelling on set.

 

Amonsen was raised just outside Toronto and continues to reside there today.
