As a powerful and enduring presence on screen since the 1990s, Gloria Reuben is one of television and film’s most versatile and respected talents. Reuben was twice Emmy nominated for her groundbreaking role as Jeanie Boulet on the iconic drama “ER.” She recently starred in the thriller “The Better Sister” alongside Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks. Reuben also guest starred on the Network’s hit ELSBETH, and in the acclaimed indie film “My Dead Friend Zoe,” which premiered at the 2024 SXSW Festival.
Reuben’s television credits span a wide range of critically acclaimed series including “Mr. Robot,” “Cloak & Dagger” and “City on a Hill,” among others.
On the big screen, she’s appeared in major films such as Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” “Timecop,” “Nick of Time,” “Admission” and “Reasonable Doubt.”
In addition to her acting career, Reuben is an accomplished author. Her memoir, My Brothers’ Keeper: Two Brothers. Loved. And Lost, was published in 2019 and offers a deeply personal look at love, grief and resilience.
Reuben is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and environmental causes. She splits her time between Los Angeles and New York. Her birthday is June 9. Follow her on Instagram and Tik Tok @gloreuben.
