Stephen Colbert Announced the News on Last Night’s Episode of “The Late Show”

Taylor Tomlinson has been named host of CBS’ new late night series, AFTER MIDNIGHT. Stephen Colbert made the announcement during last night’s episode of THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT when he brought Tomlinson up onto the Ed Sullivan theater stage. AFTER MIDNIGHT will take over the 12:37 AM, ET/PT time slot in early 2024 on the CBS Television Network, and will be available for streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after it airs)*.

A critically acclaimed comedian, Tomlinson is known for her Netflix comedy specials “Look at You” and “Quarter Life Crisis.” She continues to sell out shows across the country and worldwide for her recent “Have It All Tour,” including four nights at Boston’s Boch Center Wang Theater, which tied for the most sold-out comedy shows in one run at the venue.

AFTER MIDNIGHT, from CBS Studios, Spartina Industries and Funny Or Die, is executive produced by Stephen Colbert, Carrie Byalick, Tom Purcell and Evelyn McGee of Spartina Industries; James Dixon of Dixon Talent; Joe Farrell, Mike Farah, Whitney Hodack and Henry R. Muñoz III of Funny Or Die; and Jason U. Nadler of Serious Business. Jack Martin and Eric Pierce are co-showrunners and executive producers. Jo Firestone is co-executive producer and head writer for the series; Alexx Wells is also co-executive producer.

*Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers will have access to stream live via the feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live but will have access to on-demand the day after the show airs.
