THE CSI TEAM COMBINES ITS RESOURCES TO CAPTURE A SERIAL KILLER, ON THE FOURTH-SEASON PREMIERE OF "CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION,"
THURSDAY, SEPT. 25 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

"Assume Nothing" -- A series of double-homicide murders consume the CSI graveyard shift's attention as they work together to capture the killers, on the fourth-season premiere of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION Thursday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Richard Lewis directed the episode from a script by two of the series' executive producers, Anthony E. Zuiker & Danny Cannon.

When the CSI team is called to the Sphere Hotel to investigate a double homicide, they scour hotel's security tapes for clues into who may be responsible for the murders. Meanwhile, Nick potentially jeopardizes the investigation by discussing specifics of the case, which later turn up on the local news -- giving the murderers insight into the investigation. Later, the team discovers another couple murdered in a similar fashion and they determine that they are looking for a serial killer.

Television's number one series and Emmy Award-nominated CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION a fast-paced drama about a passionate team of forensic investigators trained to solve crimes the old-fashioned way -- by examining the evidence. They are on the case 24/7, scouring the scene, collecting the irrefutable evidence and finding the missing pieces that will solve the mystery. Gil Grissom (William Petersen), the senior forensics officer, heads the team of investigators at the Criminalistics Bureau in Las Vegas. The team includes single parent Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), who has to juggle a job she loves with the responsibilities of motherhood; Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), a top analyst with insider knowledge of the gambling world; Nick Stokes (George Eads), a charming yet ambitious crime-solver; and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), the newest member of the team and Grissom's former co-worker. The CSI team members also work closely with Captain Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), their former chief, now assigned to Homicide; Greg Sanders (Eric Szmanda), the wacky tech analyst who processes the evidence, and medical examiner Dr. Robbins (Robert David Hall).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION is produced by Alliance Atlantis in association with CBS Productions. Jerry Bruckheimer, Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue, Anthony Zuiker, Jonathan Littman and Danny Cannon serve as executive producers.
