GIBBS GIVES MCGEE A CHANCE TO RUN A CASE WHEN NCIS IS CALLED IN TO INVESTIGATE THE POSSIBLE MURDER OF A SAILOR, ON A REBROADCAST OF "NCIS," TUESDAY, JUNE 28

"Witness" -- Gibbs gives McGee a shot at running a case when the NCIS team is called to investigate after a woman claims to have witnessed the murder of a sailor, on a rebroadcast of NCIS, Tuesday, June 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Danica McKellar ("The Wonder Years") guest stars as Erin Kendall, a pretty and very smart computer expert who witnesses the apparent murder of a sailor in the apartment across from hers.

With skimpy evidence to go on, Gibbs turns the case over to McGee, who believes the woman's story is enough to continue the case. But when physical evidence of a crime isn't there, McGee pushes the team to keep looking because he senses there's more to her story than meets the eye.

Gibbs, still recovering after being shot by an escaped terrorist, pushes his team to find the answers in the death of a sailor whose body was found in a crawlspace at an illicit rave party. At first, it seems that the sailor was struck by a car in the parking lot, but when no clear motive or suspect surfaces, Gibbs refuses to let the case go unsolved.
