"A DR. PHIL PRIMETIME SPECIAL: BEHIND THE HEADLINES," A NEW SPECIAL IN WHICH DR. PHIL McGRAW TALKS WITH PAT O'BRIEN ABOUT HIS RECENT STAY IN AN ALCOHOL REHABILITATION PROGRAM, TO BE BROADCAST MAY 4 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

The Special Marks O'Brien's First In-Depth Television Interview Since Completing Treatment

Pat O'Brien, host of "The Insider," joins Dr. Phil McGraw on A DR. PHIL PRIMETIME SPECIAL: BEHIND THE HEADLINES, Wednesday, May 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special, in which O'Brien is the sole topic, will mark his first in-depth television interview since his recent release from an alcohol rehabilitation facility.

Dr. Phil will confront O'Brien about the incidents that led up to his stay in the recovery program, the issues he faced while in treatment and the stories about his personal life that made headline news. They will also talk about how O'Brien should deal with his colleagues when he returns to "The Insider" and how to approach life without alcohol.

O'Brien will return as host on "The Insider" on Thursday, May 5. O'Brien will also appear on Dr. Phil's syndicated show, "Dr. Phil," on May 5 where they will continue their discussion.
