"Creatures of the Night" -- The unsolved 1977 case involving the death of a Philadelphia doorman, Mike, is given a second look when Rush and Valens try to link his murder to a serial killer about to be released from prison on a legal technicality, on COLD CASE, Sunday, May 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Alex Zakrzewski directed from a script by Tyler Bensinger.

Rush and Valens first tackle the unusual relationship of Mike and the serial killer, Roy (guest star Barry Bostwick), for any past connection. Mike worked at a fancy apartment building and was oddly close with one of the married residents, and Roy was a severely troubled teen with an abusive father. Eventually, Rush and Valens uncover that Mike's girlfriend at the time also worked with Roy at a local diner and that a midnight screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" was the event that brought them all together.
