BETH FELDMAN PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT, CBS COMMUNICATIONS GROUP

Beth Feldman has been promoted to the newly created position of Vice President, CBS Communications Group, it was announced by Chris Ender, Senior Vice President, CBS Communications Group, to whom she reports.

The New York-based Feldman will spearhead publicity campaigns connected to programming-related initiatives for the CBS Marketing Group, cbs.com and upn.com, and CBS Consumer Products. She will also oversee UPN's publicity activities in New York, and work on special projects for CBS.

"Program-related publicity is being integrated into an increasing number of platforms across our company. As such, we wanted to establish a senior point person to coordinate these efforts with the individual show publicists and the multiple programming and marketing units," said Ender. "We wanted someone who thinks like a marketer, programmer and publicist all in one -- Beth is all that and more. Quite simply, when you have someone as creative and talented as she is, you look for opportunities to get her on the field in as many ways as possible."

In this newly created position, Feldman will work with publicists at CBS, UPN and CBS Enterprises to develop and implement campaigns that publicize marketing, web site and licensing and merchandising activities, and integrate these initiatives into the show publicity process. Examples include the DVD releases of "Joan of Arcadia" and "America's Next Top Model," original programming and content on cbs.com and upn.com and the introduction of the CSI board games.

Feldman will also work closely with Dana McClintock, Senior Vice President of the CBS Communications Group, on broad based corporate communications and media relations strategies supporting CBS Digital Media and CBS Marketing.

During her nearly 10-year career with CBS, Feldman has worked on publicity campaigns on behalf of CSI, COLD CASE, EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND (including the current finale campaign), JUDGING AMY, THE AMAZING RACE and THE KING OF QUEENS, the movies "Hitler: Rise of Evil," "The Elizabeth Smart Story" and "Gleason" and the specials "CMA Awards" and "ACM Awards."
