UPN SIGNS AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH GRAY TELEVISION INC. FOR STATION IN TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA

UPN has signed a new primary affiliation agreement with Gray Television Inc. for WCTV-DT, Gray's digital station in Tallahassee, Fla., it was announced today by Peter Schruth, President, Affiliate Relations, CBS/UPN. The affiliation is effective April 1. Tallahassee is the 109th largest market in the country.

"Within the last nine months we've signed three new UPN affiliation agreements with Gray Television in Knoxville, Lexington and Augusta," said Schruth. "Because Gray also owns the CBS affiliates in these markets, as they do in Tallahassee, these UPN affiliation agreements are natural fits for both our business plans. It's also a welcome opportunity to enhance the quality programming service we bring to our Tallahassee audiences and advertisers. UPN Tallahassee will be a full-power, full-service over-the-air digital television station available in analog format on multiple cable systems in the market."

"It's an exciting time to be joining the UPN affiliate family," noted Nick Waller, President and General Manager of WCTV/WCTV-DT.
