CBS ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS OF MARKETING GROUP EXECUTIVES

Kathie Broyles, Kathie Culleton, Jeff Kreiner, Ileene Mittleman and Jack Parmeter Receive Promotions, New Titles

Five key executives within the recently-formed CBS Marketing Group have been promoted, it was announced today by George Schweitzer, President, CBS Marketing Group. Kathie Broyles, Kathie Culleton, Jeff Kreiner, Ileene Mittleman and Jack Parmeter have also received new titles as part of their promotions.

The CBS Marketing Group, established in December 2004, is a full-service marketing, advertising and media organization responsible for the strategic, creative and media aspects of all marketing for CBS and UPN, as well as collaborating on marketing at King World, Paramount Television, Infinity Broadcasting and Viacom Outdoor. The Group is also responsible for Sales Promotion, Affiliate Promotion, Network Creative Services and all Special Events, including affiliate meetings and upfront presentations. In addition to consumer marketing, the Group is responsible for creating and executing advertiser-based promotional partnerships which help enhance revenues and ratings.

Kathie Broyles has been named Senior Vice President, Creative Director, Print Advertising, responsible for all print and outdoor creative. She has been Vice President since joining CBS in 1997.

Kathie Culleton has been named Senior Vice President, Marketing and Media Operations, responsible for media planning, buying and scheduling for the department. She has been Vice President, Marketing Operations and Media Planning since 1989. She joined CBS in 1976.

Jeff Kreiner has been named Senior Vice President and Creative Director, responsible for CBS News Advertising and Promotion. Jeff has been Vice President, Creative Director, since 1996 when he rejoined the Network from NBC News.

Ileene Mittleman has been named Senior Vice President, Advertising and Creative Services, responsible for East Coast creative operations, including the Late Show with David Letterman and the Affiliate Advertising Department. Ileene has been Vice President since May 1994. She joined CBS in 1989.

And Jack Parmeter has been named Senior Vice President, On Air Promotion, responsible for the creative and production aspects of CBS on-air promotion. Jack has been Vice President since joining CBS in 1997.

Mittleman, Culleton and Kreiner will continue to report to Schweitzer. Broyles and Parmeter will continue to report to Ron Scalera, Executive Vice President, Creative Director, CBS Marketing Group, from CBS's Television City.

The CBS business unit is comprised of the CBS Television Network, which serves more than 200 owned and affiliated stations reaching virtually every television home in the United States; CBS programming entities CBS Entertainment, CBS Sports and CBS News; CBS Enterprises, which encompasses King World Productions and the newly-created CBS Paramount International Television, which it jointly manages with Paramount Domestic Television, a leading supplier of first-run and syndicated television programming; the Viacom Television Stations Group, consisting of 39 stations, including 20 CBS, 18 UPN and one independent station; Paramount Network Television, now merged with the former CBS Productions, is a leading supplier of original series for network and cable television; and the Viacom Outdoor unit is one of the largest outdoor media companies in the world, with significant operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Europe.
