"THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS" IS THE TOP RATED DAYTIME DRAMA FOR THE 817TH CONSECUTIVE WEEK AND FIRST IN WOMEN 18-49

CBS Leads Daytime For The 805th Consecutive Week

"The Early Show" Posts Gains In Key Demos

CBS Daytime placed first for the 805th consecutive week with and against regular schedules and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was also the top rated daytime drama in households for the 817th consecutive week in the week and first in women 18-49, ending August 29th.

The Network had the top four programs in households: #1 THE PRICE IS RIGHT 2, #2 THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, #3 THE PRICE IS RIGHT 1 and #4 (tie) THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL with AS THE WORLD TURNS finishing 7th. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is the week's top rated program in women 18-49 for the second consecutive week.

Note: NBC's two daytime dramas were preempted due to Olympic coverage.

CBS News' THE EARLY SHOW (2.0/08, 2.55m) enjoyed gains even with "The Today Show" in Athens in adults 25-54 (+11%), women 25-54 (+9%) and women 18-49 (+11%) compared to the same week last year.
