CBS AND NICKELODEON PRESENT

CBS'S 2003-04 CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE FOR

"NICK ON CBS" SATURDAY MORNINGS

"The Brothers Garcia," "All Grown Up," "Hey Arnold!" and "Chalkzone" Return to the "Nick on CBS" Saturday-Morning Children's Schedule

The NICK ON CBS series for the 2004-05 season:

Hey Arnold!, E/I, TV-Y. Arnold is a city kid whose problems (school bullies, crushes, best friends and secret handshakes) are a lot like the problems of any other fourth-grader. The difference? Arnold has a unique way of solving them, using his city savvy and instinctive sense of right and wrong. HEY ARNOLD! is a Nickelodeon production.

CHALKZONE, E/I, TV-Y, chronicles the adventures of Rudy Tabootie, a 10-year-old boy who discovers a world beyond the chalkboard where all erased chalk drawings come to life. Luckily, with the help of his sidekick, Snap, and his best friend, Penny, Rudy's a pro at drawing himself out of trouble when they're on an adventure. Each half-hour episode of CHALKZONE features three cartoon shorts of varying length. CHALKZONE is the first series to emerge from Nickelodeon's cartoon laboratory, Oh Yeah! Cartoons!, and is a Nicktoons production.

All Grown Up, E/I, TV-Y, features the perennially animated tots the Rugrats as 'tweens. The still-bonded members of the onetime baby brigade now manage to negotiate and even outmaneuver their bossy cousin, Angelica. The Rugrats are all grown up, 10 years later than when we last saw them, and facing a whole slew of new adventures. Tommy, Angelica and the rest of the gang are now preteens and, like everyone else, they're just trying to fit in and make it through middle school. They have traded in their bottles for braces and have ditched their diapers for detention.

The Brothers Garcia, E/I, TVY-7, recounts the everyday coming-of-age stories of three brothers and their sister growing up in San Antonio, Texas.? The series features Alvin Alvarez (Larry), Jeffrey Licon (Carlos) and Bobby Gonzalez (George) as the Garcia brothers and Vaneza Leza Pitynski (Lorena) as their sister. Carlos La Camara (Ray) and Ada Maris (Sonia) star as the Garcia parents. Actor-comedian John Leguizamo ("Moulin Rouge," "Ice Age") narrates the family's adventures through the reflective eyes of Larry, the youngest brother.

DORA THE EXPLORER, E/I, TV-Y. Nick Jr.'s successful original play-along, animated adventure series, features a 7-year-old Latina heroine who lives inside a computer. Dora is proudly bi-lingual and uses her knowledge of Spanish to communicate with her friends, overcome obstacles and reach her goals. In each episode, Dora teaches the viewers a Spanish word or phrase and asks them to use it to solve a problem. Dora and her friend Boots ultimately triumph and end her stories with a "We did it!" anthem. DORA THE EXPLORER is a Nick Jr. production.

BLUE'S CLUES, E/I, TV-Y, Nick Jr.'s acclaimed signature show, challenges and empowers young children while making them laugh. In each episode, host Joe (Donovan Patton) invites young viewers into his computer-animated storybook world to help him and Blue, his energetic female puppy, solve the day's puzzles. BLUE'S CLUES continues to inspire acclaim for its unique interactivity, which has changed the way children watch television. The series continues to raise the bar in preschool television by exploring advanced subject matter such as sign language, geography, physics, emotions and anatomy. BLUE'S CLUES is a Nick Jr. production.
