CBS SPORTS ANNOUNCES BROADCAST PAIRINGS FOR 2004 NFL SEASON

The CBS Television Network's 45th year of broadcasting the NFL begins on Sunday, Sept. 12 (12:00 Noon-4:00 PM, ET) as Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, with Lesley Visser reporting, lead THE NFL ON CBS into the Network's 2004 NFL season. Dick Enberg and Dan Dierdorf, along with Armen Keteyian reporting, solidify the Network's lineup by having two of the top NFL announce teams in sports television.
Greg Gumbel returns to a familiar post as the anchor of THE NFL TODAY, the CBS Television Network's hour-long pre-game studio show, along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason and newcomer Shannon Sharpe. Marcus Allen and Bonnie Bernstein will serve as feature reporters for the show, and Keteyian will contribute.
Other notes of interest include Steve Beuerlein and Rich Baldinger joining the 2004 NFL ON CBS announce team as they pair with Bill Macatee and Craig Bolerjack, respectively.
CBS Sports' complete roster of announce teams for its 45th year of NFL coverage was announced today by Sean McManus, President, CBS Sports, and Tony Petitti, Executive Producer, CBS Sports.
