CBS SPORTS' 2004 COLLEGE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE FEATURES FULL LINEUP OF BEST OF SEC LED BY 2003 DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION LSU, GEORGIA, FLORIDA AND TENNESSEE
LSU and Auburn Kickoff Season on Saturday Sept. 18 Followed by Florida and Tennessee in Prime Time
CBS Sports begins the fourth year of expanded coverage of Southeastern Conference (SEC) football beginning Saturday, Sept. 18 with a national doubleheader featuring 2003 National Champion LSU battling Auburn (3:30-7:00 PM, ET), followed by a primetime match-up between Florida and Tennessee (8:00 PM, ET).
For 13 Saturdays throughout the season, CBS Sports will present exclusive live national network broadcasts of SEC home games with the best SEC regular-season action the Conference has to offer concluding with the SEC Championship Game featuring the Eastern and Western Division champions on Saturday, Dec. 4 (6:00 PM, ET). A total of 18 college football contests will be broadcast on the Network, including the 71st Vitalis Sun Bowl on Friday, Dec. 31.

Sept. 18 LSU at Auburn 3:30 PM, ET Sept. 18 Florida at Tennessee 8:00 PM, ET Oct. 16 Notre Dame at Navy 12:00 NOON, ET Oct. 30 Georgia vs. Florida 3:30 PM, ET Nov. 26 (Fri.) LSU at Arkansas 2:30 PM, ET Dec. 4 Army vs. Navy 2:30 PM, ET Dec. 4 SEC Championship 6:00 PM, ET Dec. 31 (Fri.) Vitalis Sun Bowl 2:00 PM, ET
All other SEC games will be announced six to 12 days prior to their broadcast date.
Verne Lundquist and Todd Blackledge return for the fifth consecutive year to call the action as the CBS Television Network's lead college football announce team. Tracy Wolfson has been named lead sideline reporter for the 2004 season.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY, the Network's pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, will be broadcast in the half-hour format eight times throughout the season, premiering on Saturday, Sept. 18 (3:00-3:30 PM, ET). Hosted by Tim Brando and analyst Spencer Tillman, COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY presents highlights of all the day's action, as well as a look at college football's most interesting stories and personalities both on and off-the-field.
