AWARD-WINNING REPORTER SUSAN KOEPPEN NAMED CONSUMER CORRESPONDENT FOR CBS NEWS' "THE EARLY SHOW"

Susan Koeppen, an award-winning reporter, has been named a consumer correspondent for CBS News' THE EARLY SHOW (M-F, 7:00-9:00 AM ET/PT). The appointment is effective Monday, July 19.

"Susan's impactful?reporting, award-winning experience and tremendous enthusiasm will?give?our viewers an in-depth look at the critical consumer issues that influence?and affect our everyday lives," said senior executive producer Michael Bass. ?
Koeppen was, most recently, a consumer reporter and weekend morning anchor for WTAE-TV Pittsburgh (2000-04). Previously, she was an anchor/reporter at WHEC-TV Rochester, N.Y.; an anchor/reporter at WKTV-TV Utica, N.Y.; and a reporter at WNYT-TV Albany.? Koeppen is an Emmy Award-winning reporter and is the recipient of two Gracie Allen Awards from American Women in Radio and Television.

THE EARLY SHOW is broadcast weekdays (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Michael Bass is the senior executive producer and Victor Neufeld is the executive producer.
