“48 HOURS” IS SATURDAY’S #1 PRIMETIME PROGRAM WITH VIEWERS
48 HOURS was the #1 primetime program with viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Saturday, April 24. The broadcast delivered 2.58 million viewers and a 0.4/03 with adults 25-54. 48 HOURS added +140,000 viewers from the previous week (+6% from 2.44m).
Saturday’s broadcast featured Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigation into the murder of Ray Green and the case against his ex-wife, who initially told friends and family that her ex-husband was killed by the family dog, a German Shepherd named Jazzy. When police showed at the family home, Dani Green changed her story. She said Ray, who sometimes worked as a truck driver, was on the road. She consented to let investigators look everywhere, except inside of a big padlocked toolbox.
