GOD'S LATEST ASSIGNMENT FOR JOAN CAUSES HER TO BE A PRESENT-DAY MARTYR, ON "JOAN OF ARCADIA," FRIDAY, NOV. 21 ?
"St. Joan" -- God gives Joan an assignment that results in her defending her beliefs, on JOAN OF ARCADIA, Friday, Nov. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Martha Mitchell directed the episode written by Randy Anderson.
When God tells Joan to earn an "A" on her history test on the 100 Year War, her reluctance turns to fervor when she learns that scholars believe Joan of Arc was schizophrenic because she claims to have spoken with God. Her interest in her namesake helps her ace the exam but when she is accused of cheating and told to retake the test, she takes a stand by refusing.
