"Dog Shelter" -- Carrie discovers that Doug's parents have been sheltering him from the truth for years about his beloved dog, Rocky, by replacing him with three other Rocky look-alikes, on a rebroadcast of THE KING OF QUEENS, Monday, Sept. 1 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. When Carrie implements a new honesty policy for the entire Heffernan family, Doug's parents start divulging all the little white lies they told him for so many years. When Doug discovers he may be Canadian and that he was held back in kindergarten, he begs his parents to start sheltering him again. Meanwhile, Spence panics that his mom, Veronica (guest star Anne Meara), won't think his girlfriend, Denise (guest star Rachel Dratch), is good enough for him, and foolishly invites Arthur to serve as a mediator at dinner.
