2015 NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAMERS RANDY JOHNSON, PEDRO MARTINEZ, JOHN SMOLTZ AND CRAIG BIGGIO PRESENT THE “TOP TEN THINGS I SAID WHEN I LEARNED I MADE THE BASEBALL HALL OF FAME” ON CBS’ “LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN” TONIGHT

The 2015 National Baseball Hall of Fame class of Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, John Smoltz and Craig Biggio present the “Top Ten Things I Said When I Learned I Made the Baseball Hall of Fame” on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Wednesday, Jan. 7 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Among the items they present are number 10, read by Martinez: “Maybe I should make baseball my career”; number 9, read by Johnson: “One step closer to becoming People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’”; number 8, read by Biggio: “Second biggest thrill? Showering with Roger Clemens”; and number 7, read by Smoltz: “Ooh, what will I wear to the ceremony?” Their entire Top Ten can be seen on the LATE SHOW tonight.
Johnson, Martinez and Smoltz were voted in Tuesday by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America on their first time on the ballot. Biggio was selected in his third year. For the first time since 1955, four players were elected in a single election, and it marks the first time ever that three pitchers were voted in on a single election. The Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for July 26 in Cooperstown, NY.
Also featured on the LATE SHOW tonight is an interview with actress Julianne Moore, who stars in the new film “Still Alice”; sportscaster Marv Albert, who will present his final and “best of all time” LATE SHOW sports bloopers; and a performance by music guests Catfish & The Bottlemen.
