“THE TALK” CO-HOST JULIE CHEN ON HER RETURN TO “CBS THIS MORNING”: “IT FEELS LIKE HOME”
The women of the CBS daytime talk show THE TALK appeared live for the first time on CBS THIS MORNING. Co-hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler joined CBS THIS MORNING co-host Gayle King, live today, May 14, 2012, on CBS THIS MORNING on the CBS Television Network (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM).
Below is an excerpt from the interview.
KING: The show was recently nominated for not one, not two, but three daytime Emmy awards. Julie, how does it feel to be back? You were never in this studio, but you were on this show.
CHEN: Exactly. It feels like home.

KING: Congratulations on the Emmy. So, when you heard that you were nominated — I’m thinking the big one is “Best Talk Show” — you’re thinking what, Sara? This all started with you. This is your brainchild.
GILBERT: I guess, but it has really evolved into something bigger and better than I could have ever imagined with this team and our production team. I was stunned.
