Meredith Eaton ("Family Law") Will Guest Star

"A Little Murder" - Grissom and his team are called to the hotel where the annual Little People's convention takes place to investigate the death of one of the members. While across town Catherine becomes a victim of the crime she is investigating, on a rebroadcast of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, on a special night and time, Friday, Feb. 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Tucker Gates directed the episode from a script by Ann Donahue, one of the series' executive producers, and Naren Shankar. (Originally broadcast 10/17/02)

Grissom, Nick and Sara probe the death of Lawrence Ames, a dwarf who was found hanging from his hotel room while attending the International Organization of Little People's convention in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Catherine shows some vulnerability when an unknown assailant at the murder crime scene she is investigating assaults her.

Meredith Eaton ("Family Law") guest stars in the episode as Melanie Grace, a dwarf who Grissom befriends during his investigation.
