THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, the action-adventure thriller starring Pierce Brosnan as legendary master spy and super agent James Bond, has its network television premiere on the CBS Sunday Movie Sunday, Nov. 3 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The movie also stars Sophie Marceau, Robert Carlyle, Denise Richards, and Judi Dench ("Mrs. Brown") as James Bond's supervisor M, who assigns the globe trotting master agent to protect her recently murdered friend's daughter, Elektra King (Sophie Marceau, "Braveheart"). Bond soon discovers that the man who killed Elektra's father, and is now trying to eliminate her, is a mysterious terrorist named Renard (Robert Carlyle "The Full Monty"). Renard has a bullet lodged in his brain has rendered him unable to feel physical pain, but his only reason left to live is revenge.

When Bond tracks him down, he finds Renard about to steal a nuclear bomb from a group of scientists led by Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards "Wild Things"). Bond involuntarily teams up with Dr. Jones, and they soon find out that there is more threat to the situation than just pipeline sabotage.

The 1999 MGM release, shot in Azerbaijan, Spain, France, United Kingdom and Turkey, was directed by Michael Apted from a screenplay by Neil Purvis, Robert Wade and Bruce Feirstein, based on Ian Fleming's James Bond series. Barbara Broccoli, Nigel Goldsack, Anthony Waye and Michael G. Wilson are the producers.
