Paul McCartney To Make First Appearance on CBS's "LATE SHOW,"

45 Years after The Beatles First Appeared at the Ed Sullivan Theater

on "The Ed Sullivan Show"

 

CBS.com and TV.com to Stream Exclusive Paul McCartney Mini-Concert

After Tonight's Show Taping

  

As part of his historic appearance on the Wednesday, July 15 LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Paul McCartney will perform additional songs after the show's taping which will be webcast exclusively on CBS.com and TV.com tonight.

 

McCartney will be making his first visit to the LATE SHOW at the Ed Sullivan Theater, the same stage where, 45 years ago, The Beatles made their American debut on "The Ed Sullivan Show."  The music legend will sit down for an interview with Letterman and will also perform two songs on the broadcast.  After the show taping, McCartney will perform an additional set of exclusive songs, which will be webcast at the LATE SHOW website at CBS.com (http://www.cbs.com/late_show/) and also TV.com (http://www.tv.com/) later this evening.
