Featuring CNET Podcasts Including Buzz Out Loud, The 404, Gadgettes, and More

           SAN FRANCISCO, June 16 - CNET (www.cnet.com), where people go to discover the latest in technology and consumer electronics information, today announced the launch of CNET Live, http://www.cnet.com/live.  This new online destination will stream videos of CNET's popular podcasts including Buzz Out Loud, the 404, MP3 Insider, The Real Deal, Dialed In, Gadgettes, and Digital City.  In addition to live streaming, the content will also be available on-demand as a video and an audio podcast. 

 

          CNET Live allows viewers to stay connected to the latest technology news, and get their daily dose of tips, tricks and advice from CNET's team of editorial experts and producers.  Every day from Monday through Friday, users can view at least two to three live streaming shows from CNET.  Each podcast runs from 20 to 60 minutes and features an online chat session where members can interact in the "live member chat" room.  Registration to participate in the online chat sessions is free.  CNET Live will also host an archive of past podcasts for users to access at any time.

•·        Dialed In - Each Wednesday at 2:00 PM, PT/5:00 PM, ET, cell phone editors Kent German, Bonnie Cha, and Nicole Lee meet to discuss the latest cell phone news and answer questions from users about what's in, what's out, and what's coming next.

 

•·        The Real Deal - Every Thursday at 1:00 PM, PT/4:00 PM, ET, Tom Merritt and Rafe Needleman answer users' tech questions and explain tough tech topics.  Listeners also share their tips and secrets.  This show will make any neophyte a tech expert.

•·        Gadgettes - Every Thursday at 2:30 PM, PT/5:30 PM, ET, Molly Wood and Kelly Morrison take a humorous look at gadgets aimed at women with weekly segments like "Pink Watch," "This week in Hello Kitty," and "Gender Gap."

 

•·        Digital City - Every Friday at 12:00 PM, PT/3:00 PM, ET, Dan Ackerman, Julie Rivera, Joseph Kaminski, and Scott Stein explore the impact of new technology on city life and urban environments, from public Wi-Fi to high-tech crime.
