SAN FRANCISCO, March 16 - TV.com, the place where television lives online, today announced significant year-over-year growth across all key video metrics as it continues its goal to be the most comprehensive television site on the Web for community, content and information.

According Nielsen VideoCensus (February 2009), TV.com posted a 184% increase in unique viewers, 844% increase in streams, and 3101% increase in minutes. In addition, TV.com also reported steady growth month-over-month across all key metrics, posting a 28% increase in unique viewers, 16% increase in streams, and 11% increase in minutes spent on the site.

"We continue to see video streams grow as we layer more great content on top of TV.com's thriving online community. Currently we have more than 18 million user contributions a month-six contributions per second," Anthony Soohoo, Senior Vice President and General Manager of TV.com.  "Across the board, we are seeing more and more people turning to TV.com for the complete television experience. Whether they are looking to view their favorite videos, interact with other passionate fans, or find information on their favorite shows, TV.com is the place where it all comes together."

The growth in TV.com video viewers and streams is also driven through a targeted consumer marketing effort that places contextually relevant messages across the CBS Corporation portfolio of assets, including its interactive properties, network television and radio, as well as external media like the The New York Times.  According to internal measures, direct homepage traffic to TV.com has increased by 58% and, according to Hitwise, web searches for TV.com are up 200% since January[1].

TV.com fans can also now access TV.com content from their iPhone and iPod touch, through the free TV.com app - currently the third most popular free app in the Entertainment category in the Apple App Store.
