Winner Chosen By An Online Viewer Vote

CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT, television's longest-running game show, announces the winner in its model search contest: Amanda Shiflett, of Warrior, Ala.  Amanda was chosen after open casting calls were held in 13 markets - New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Miami, Tampa, Fla., Baltimore, Norfolk, Va., Birmingham, Ala. and Providence, R.I.. The top model from each market was chosen to come to Los Angeles to audition for the show's producers.  From this group of semi-finalists, the top five finalists were chosen and each appeared on an episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT that aired October 20-24.  Viewers were able to vote online for their favorite at http://www.cbs.com/ and http://www.priceisright.com/.
