CBS'S WEDNESDAY COMEDIES GAIN VIEWERS AS "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE" AND "GARY UNMARRIED" DELIVER SEASON HIGHS
Both Comedies Post Week-to-Week Increases for the Second Straight Wednesday
CBS's Wednesday comedies-THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and GARY UNMARRIED-both posted season highs and week-to-week increases in viewers, according to updated Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 15.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE won its time slot in households (5.1/08), viewers (7.61m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). Compared to last week, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE added +80,000 viewers (from 7.53m, +1%). This is THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE's best delivery this season in households and viewers, matches the best adults 18-49 delivery.
GARY UNMARRIED (5.0/08, 7.53m) averaged a 3.0/07 in adults 25-54 (tied for first with NBC) and a 2.3/06 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week, GARY UNMARRIED added +170,000 viewers (from 7.36m, +2%). GARY UNMARRIED built on its NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE lead-in by +7% in adults 25-54 and +5% in adults 18-49. GARY UNMARRIED posted series highs in households and viewers.
