On the second Thursday of the new 2008/09 television season, SURVIVOR: GABON placed first in the 8:00-9:00 PM time period in viewers and key demographics, according to updated Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Oct. 2.

SURVIVOR: GABON was first in households (7.7/12), viewers (13.08m), adults 25-54 (5.6/14) and adults 18-49 (4.5/12).  SURVIVOR: GABON matched last week's premiere delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
