HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - October 2, 2008 - Revisit the adrenaline-fueled weekly adventures of a smart-aleck San Francisco private detective and his trusted partner as they fight to bring in the bad guys when NASH BRIDGES: The First Season debuts on DVD October 14 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

Starring Golden Globe winner* Don Johnson (Miami Vice) as the "...magnetic title character" (San Francisco Chronicle) and Cheech Marin (Up In Smoke) as his best friend and lifelong partner Joe Dominguez, NASH BRIDGES is set against the sharp angles of San Francisco's hilly streets and takes viewers inside the elite Special Investigations Unit of the city's police department.  Nash uses his street-smarts, keen sense of humor and overall charm to earn his reputation as a top-notch cop even when he's unable to keep things together in his personal life.  At home, he's dealing with two ex-wives (Annette O'Toole and Serena Scott Thomas) and a rambunctious teen-age daughter (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) who needs far more supervision than Nash is able to provide.

NASH BRIDGES: The First Season includes digitally-retouched versions of the season's eight episodes, plus on-set interviews with Johnson and Marin and all-new audio commentaries from Johnson, Marin and series creator Carlton Cuse (Executive Producer, Lost) plus a Nash Bridges Writers' Roundtable.  The DVD also includes a new interview with Johnson in which he discusses how his friend, famed journalist Hunter S. Thompson, influenced the creation of the show and how NASH BRIDGES made it onto network television in the first place. The DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $42.99 in the US and $48.99 in Canada.

NASH BRIDGES: The First Season is a two-disc set presented in full screen with English Stereo.  The DVD is not rated in the US and is rated 14A in Canada.  The total running time is 6 hours and 14 minutes.  The DVD disc breakdown is as follows:
