"Come On" -- While Ted makes one last attempt to win Robin's heart, Marshall and Lily are at odds, on a rebroadcast of the first season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, Sept. 11 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Pamela Fryman directed the episode written by executive producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.  (Originally broadcast 5/15/06)

Alexis Denisof ("Angel"), husband of Alyson Hannigan, guest stars as Sandy, an arrogant Metro News anchor.  Amy Acker ("Angel") guest stars as Penelope, a graduate student who once had a fling with Barney.

In an attempt to capture Robin's heart, Ted declares his love to her. Once again, Robin resists and prepares for a weekend away with her co-anchor, Sandy.  Ted makes one last romantic gesture which leaves their fate as a couple in Robin's hands.  Meanwhile, when Marshall finds out about Lily interviewing for a summer program, a heated fight ensues.
