The premiere of SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND dominated its time period in viewers and key demographics, topping last season's premiere of "Survivor: Guatemala" in the face of increased competition, according to Live Plus Same Day National Nielsen ratings for Thursday, Feb. 2.
SURVIVOR: PANAMA premiered with a time period win in viewers (19.20m), adults 18-34 (5.0/15), adults 18-49 (7.0/18) and adults 25-54 (8.5/20). Compared to "Survivor: Guatemala's" first episode the week prior to the start of the 2005-2006 season, SURVIVOR: PANAMA was up +4% in viewers (from 18.41m), +6% each in adults 18-34 (from 4.7/16), adults 18-49 (from 6.6/19) and adults 25-54 (from 8.0/21).?
SURVIVOR: PANAMA beat "Dancing with the Stars" from 8-9 PM by +43% in adults 18-34 (vs. 3.5/10), +56% in adults 18-49 (vs. 4.5/12), +49% in adults 25-54 (5.7/13) and +1.26m viewers (from 17.94m, +7%). SURVIVOR: PANAMA had a median age of 44.3 years compared to "Dances with the Stars" median age of 54.0 years.

From 9:00-10:01 PM, CSI finished first in households (17.1/25), viewers (28.37m), adults 25-54 (11.9/26), adults 18-49 (9.6/23) and adults 18-34 (6.8/18). CSI's audience of 28.4 million viewers was its largest since Dec. 8.

WITHOUT A TRACE won its 10 PM time period in households (13.5/22), viewers (20.80m), adults 25-54 (8.1/19) and adults 18-49 (6.7/17).? WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" by +48% in households (vs. 9.1/15), +14% in both adults 18-49 (vs. 5.9/15) and adults 25-54 (vs. 7.1/17) and +7.04m viewers (vs. 13.76m, +51%). ?
