CBS ANNOUNCES THREE UNSCRIPTED SERIES ORDERS

Emmy Award-Winner “Undercover Boss” Hosted by Drew Carey Returns, Along with Two New Series: “Stacks of Cash” Hosted by Mike O’Malley and “24 Hour Millionaire” (Working Title)

CBS today announced orders for three unscripted shows: an updated edition of UNDERCOVER BOSS hosted by Drew Carey and two new series: STACKS OF CASH, hosted by Mike O’Malley, and 24 HOUR MILLIONARE (working title) from the executive producers of BIG BROTHER. Targeted seasons, premiere dates and additional details will be announced at a later date.

Our new series STACKS OF CASH delivers another fun, appealing family game show and 24 HOUR MILLIONAIRE gives us an exciting new format that feels incredibly groundbreaking in the competition space.”  

UNDERCOVER BOSS

The Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 12^th season with fan-favorite television personality Drew Carey joining as host and a refreshed take on a beloved format for today’s audience. Corporate leaders go undercover within their own organizations to gain firsthand insight into their workforce and operations. UNDERCOVER BOSS is produced by Studio Lambert. Stephen Lambert, Jack Burgess, Abigail McCarthy, Niall O’Driscoll and Tim Harcourt are executive producers.

NEW SERIES:

STACKS OF CASH

An edge-of-your-seat game show hosted by Emmy Award-nominated actor Mike O’Malley, where six contestants face off in a quiz-driven battle with towering stakes. Players answer questions to earn uniquely shaped blocks, then stack their way toward a gold line. One wrong move can send everything crashing down. STACKS OF CASH is based on a format developed by Eureka Studios Group Pty Ltd and Seven Network Limited. Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Rikkie Proost, Sonya Wilkes, David Tibballs, Ves D’Elia and Ed Egan are executive producers.

24 HOUR MILLIONAIRE (Working Title)

From the executive producers of BIG BROTHER, 24 HOUR MILLIONAIRE is an epic series that assembles the most skilled game players and puts them to the ultimate test: 24 nonstop hours of social strategy and physical competitions where one player is guaranteed to walk away with a $1 million prize. Only the best of the best will be invited, and they will be challenged to play an entirely new game where literally every second counts. In this ticking time bomb of strategy and gameplay, they will face off in groundbreaking series where thinking fast is essential; assessing threats is critical and performing under pressure is crucial. With no breaks and no rest, the pressure builds as the clock ticks down over an intense 24 hours, pushing even the most accomplished competitors to their limits. 24 HOUR MILLIONAIRE is produced by Fly on the Wall Entertainment with Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan serving as executive producers.
