MADONNA WILL OPEN THE “2026 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (VMAs)”

CBS and MTV announced today that the most nominated artist of the night, Madonna, will open the 2026 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (“VMAs”) for her first live performance at the show in 23 years. The cultural powerhouse returns to the “VMAs” stage fresh off the release of her critically acclaimed #1 album Confessions II (Warner Records). Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the “VMAs” will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27 (7:30-9:30 PM, ET/4:30-6:30 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network, simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ (Premium) in the U.S. The show will also be available globally the next day on Paramount+ and MTV.

MARG HELGENBERGER TO GUEST STAR ON “BOSTON BLUE”

Marg Helgenberger will guest star in the upcoming second season of BOSTON BLUE in a recurring role as Sarah Silver’s (Maggie Lawson) estranged biological mother.

Helgenberger will play Gwen Silver, a complex yet charming woman whose temperament is not unlike the climate of her Cape Cod home – unpredictable. Gwen returns to Boston with a very personal and emotional agenda just when Sarah least expects it. Though Gwen loves her daughter more than anything, her arrival adds a complicated layer to the Silver family dynamic.

Marg Helgenberger was last seen in CSI: VEGAS, the reboot of the CBS hit series CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION. Marg starred in the original from 2000-2012, for which she received multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Other television credits include “All Rise,” “Intelligence” and “China Beach,” for which she received an Emmy Award in 1990. Her film credits include: “Erin Brockovich,” “Mr. Brooks,” “In Good Company,” “A Dog’s Journey,” “Species,” “Bad Boys” and “Always,” among others.

“THE AMAZING RACE” 25TH ANNIVERSARY “ET” SPECIAL
CBS announced today THE AMAZING RACE: 25 YEARS AROUND THE WORLD, an ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT special, will air Tuesday, Sept. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming live on Paramount+ (Premium) and next day. Hosted by ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT co-host Nischelle Turner, the special celebrates 25 years of Emmy® Award-winning reality competition series THE AMAZING RACE the day prior to the new season premiere.

CBS’ “MARSHALS” BIG RIG TOUR KICKS OFF ON
SEPT. 23 IN LOUISVILLE, KY
The CBS MARSHALS Big Rig Tour will kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Louisville, Ky. This unique marketing activation will feature two MARSHALS-branded 18-wheeler big rigs that will travel to three American cities to excite audiences ahead of the show’s second season premiere on Sunday, Oct. 4.
Each stop will spotlight a big rig with a massive version of Kayce’s iconic black cowboy hat atop. Fans can visit the big rig for a custom belt buckle bar, exciting giveaways and a Western-themed lounge space bringing the world of MARSHALS to life and offering photo ops inspired by the show.

MICHAEL MALARKEY TO GUEST STAR ON “TRACKER”

Michael Malarkey to guest star on TRACKER in a recurring role.

Malarkey will play Adam. Disarmingly handsome, intelligent and sophisticated, but with a bit of a bad-boy undercurrent, Adam works as a private investigator for high-end law firms. He runs into Reenie (Fiona Rene), an old friend he hasn’t seen in years, and their familiar banter brings questions about their history and possible future.

Michael Malarkey can most recently be seen in Netflix’s “The Night Agent.” He is best known for his role as a series regular in “The Vampire Diaries” and was the lead of Robert Zemeckis’ “Project Blue Book” on the History Channel. He also appears in “Dead Money” and “A Violent Separation.” His TV credits include “The Oath,” HBO’s “Westworld,” ABC’s “Big Sky” and “Law and Order: Organized Crime.”
