CBS LEADS 52ND ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY® AWARDS WITH 37 NOMINATIONS
37 Nominations, Up Four From 33 For 2024 Ceremony
CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” Leads All Daytime Drama Categories With 19 Nominations Including Outstanding Drama Series
CBS Media Ventures Receives 12 Nominations For “The Drew Barrymore Show,” “Entertainment Tonight” and “Hot Bench”
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) revealed “The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards” nominations today, with CBS leading with 37 total nominations.
On CBS, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS received 19 nominations, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received four nominations and the special BOB NEWHART: A LEGACY OF LAUGHTER and THE TALK each received one nomination. CBS Media Ventures accrued a total of 12 nominations, including nine nominations for THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW, two for ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and one for HOT BENCH.
CBS, inclusive of Network and syndicated programming, received nominations in key categories including Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, Daytime Talk Series, Daytime Talk Series Host and Entertainment News Series categories. Nominations include:

In the category of Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress, Y&R’s Courtney Hope and Susan Walters each received a nomination and Y&R’s Michael Graziadei was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actor. Nominations for Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series go to B&B’s Clint Howard and Y&R’s Linden Ashby and Valarie Pettiford. In a new category this year, B&B’s Christian Weissman and Lisa Yamada each received nominations for Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series.
Additionally, Y&R nominations include both the Writing Team and Directing Team for a Daytime Drama Series; Outstanding Live Sound Mixing and Sound Editing, Outstanding Lighting Direction; Outstanding Casting; Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video; Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design and Outstanding Costume Design/Styling. B&B was nominated for Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup.
CBS’ other nominations include BOB NEWHART: A LEGACY OF LAUGHTER (AN ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT SPECIAL) for Outstanding Daytime Special and THE TALK for Outstanding Live Sound Mixing and Sound Editing.
THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW also received nominations for Outstanding Directing Team for a Multiple Camera Daytime Non-Fiction Program; Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video; Outstanding Lighting Direction; Outstanding Main Title and Graphic Design; Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design; Outstanding Costume Design/Styling and Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup.
