The Holiday Film "The Man Who Saved Christmas," Starring Jason Alexander, Will Be Broadcast Later on Thanksgiving Day

CBS's Top Rated Daytime Drama, "The Young and the Restless" Will Broadcast a Viewer's Choice Encore Presentation of Il Divo's Special Performance, Friday, Nov. 25

CBS Daytime will celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with special programming on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25.

THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS will air live from New York City on Thursday (9:00-12:00 PM ET/delayed PT; 8:00-11:00 AM, live CT; 7:00-10:00 AM, live MT) on the CBS Television Network.

On Thursday, Nov. 24, most of the CBS Daytime line-up will be pre-empted for special holiday programming. However, an episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT (12:30-1:30 PM, ET; 11:00-12:00 PM, CT; 10:00-11:00 PM, MT) will be rebroadcast in all time zones, except the West Coast.

Also on Thursday, a special presentation of the CBS holiday film, THE MAN WHO SAVED CHRISTMAS, will be rebroadcast (1:30-3:30 PM, ET; 12:30-2:30 PM, CT; 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, MT) in all time zones except the West Coast. This heartwarming drama, which was originally broadcast Dec. 15, 2002, stars Jason Alexander, Ed Asner and Kelly Rowan and tells the true story of innovative inventor and toymaker A.C. Gilbert, who helped a country at war rediscover the joy of the holiday season.

On Friday, November 25 (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM, ET; 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, CT; 10:00-11:00 AM, MT; 3:00 PM-4:00 PM, PT), the CBS Television Network will air a special re-broadcast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (originally broadcast in August 26, 2005) chosen by the fans on cbs.com as the episode they would most like to see repeated. The episode showcases Daniel and Lily's reunion after he is acquitted for Cassie's death and features a special performance by the musical group Il Divo, a gift
