FOUR CBS DAYTIME SHOWS POST YEAR-OVER-YEAR GROWTH
THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT Viewership Up 16% in Late Night
CBS, the ratings leader for decades in daytime television, has opened the 2024-25 broadcast season with audience growth across its daytime dramas and game shows in L+7 viewing, according to VideoAmp data.
CBS will further expand the daytime audience with BEYOND THE GATES, the new daytime drama series and debut project from the CBS Studios/NAACP Venture, which premieres Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, and will air weekdays (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. This marks the first-ever one-hour Black daytime soap and the first daytime drama to premiere since “Passions” in 1999.
THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT has also retained its #1 status with a 16% increase in total viewers vs. last year.
