CBS PREMIERE EPISODES SOAR IN MULTIPLATFORM VIEWERSHIP LED BY “MATLOCK” PREMIERE AMASSING 22.8 MILLION VIEWERS IN ONE MONTH

All of CBS’ New Scripted Series Deliver Streaming Viewership Increases from Last Season Premieres

CBS announced today impressive, double-digit multiplatform audiences and season-over-season streaming growth for the premieres of its freshman and sophomore season series. Measurement is based on VideoAmp and internal data.

  • MATLOCK’s series premiere has been seen by 15.8 million multiplatform viewers in its first 30 days. When including the two encore airings Oct. 8 and Oct. 10, this number jumps to 22.8 million viewers.

  • GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE series premiere amassed 10.6 million multiplatform viewers in its first seven days, up season-over-season versus YOUNG SHELDON’s final season premiere on Feb. 15.

  • TRACKER season two premiere delivered 15.7 million multiplatform viewers in its first seven days, up +25% from its time period premiere last season on Feb. 18.

  • ELSBETH’s season two premiere was seen by nearly 10 million multiplatform viewers in its first seven days, up +19% from its debut last season on Feb. 29.

Streaming

On Paramount+ and CBS TVE (CBS.com / CBS App), the premiere episodes for CBS’ freshman and sophomore scripted series also posted gains from last season’s premieres on an AMA basis:

  • MATLOCK posted CBS’ second-largest streaming seven-day AMA for any new series, only behind last season’s TRACKER.

  • GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE is up +72% from last season’s premiere of YOUNG SHELDON.

  • TRACKER, the most-watched CBS streaming series on Paramount+ last season, is up +3% YoY from its first regularly scheduled episode. 

  • ELSBETH is up +34% YoY from its last season premiere. 

  • NCIS: ORIGINS is up +53% in seven-day streaming from the last season premiere of NCIS: HAWAI’I on Feb. 12.

  • POPPA’S HOUSE is up +169% in three days of streaming from BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA’s last season premiere on Feb. 12.
