ROB BENEDICT

Rob Benedict is best known to television audiences for "Felicity." He was most recently seen in "Alias." His other television credits include "NCIS" and "Chicago Hope," on CBS, "Medium," "Birds of Prey," "NYPD Blue," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Snoops" and "Beverly Hills, 90210."

Benedict's feature film credits include "Kicking & Screaming," "Not Another Teen Movie," "Two Days," "The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest" and "My Dinner with Jimi."

He was born and raised in Columbia, Mo., and graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in performance studies. He and his wife, Mollie, and their son, Calvin, live in Los Angeles. His birth date is Sept. 21.

PETER DINKLAGE
(Arthur Ramsey in THRESHOLD)

Peter Dinklage is best known for his starring role in the 2003 Sundance Audience Award-winning film "The Station Agent," for which he was recognized with a Best Actor nomination in the 2003 Independent Spirit Awards, as well as being named one of the Top 5 "Breakout Stars" of the year by Entertainment Weekly.

His feature film credits include "Elf," "Human Nature," "Safe Men," "Never Again," "13 Moons," "Surviving Eden, "Living in Oblivion," "Find Me Guilty," "Lassie," "The Little Fugitive" and "The Baxter," which premiered at the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival.

Dinklage is set to star in "Mendel's Dwarf," "Fellini Black & White," "Little Green Men" with John Malkovich and the "Affair of the Sorcerers" franchise.

Dinklage is a graduate of the drama program at Bennington College in Vermont. He has appeared Off Broadway in "I Wanna Be Adored," "Imperfect Love" and "Evolution." In 2005, Dinklage was nominated for a Drama League Distinguished Performance Award for his portrayal of Richard III at New York's Public Theater, and he starred in the Charlie Kaufman New Ear radio play "Hope Leaves the Theater" opposite Meryl Streep and Hope Davis.

Dinklage was born and raised in Morristown, N.J., and makes his home in New York. His birth date is June 11.

CHARLES S. DUTTON

Charles S. Dutton won an Emmy Award in 2002 for his guest role in "The Practice" and one in 2003 for his guest role in "Without a Trace," on CBS'. He has received Tony nominations for "The Piano Lesson" and "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom." He also received an NAACP Image Award in 2003 for "DC Sniper" and a 1993 Image Award nomination and a 1992 award for "Roc," for which he also served as executive producer.

Dutton earned a bachelor of arts degree from Towson State University and was active in theater in Baltimore, appearing in "The Blacks," "The Great White Hope," "Of Mice and Men," "Detective Story," and the world premiere of Eugene Ionesco's "Man With Bags." Later, he was accepted to the Yale Drama School, where he appeared in "Othello," "King Lear" and "Baal." At Yale, he began working with playwright August Wilson and director Lloyd Richards, who became friends and mentors.

After graduation, Dutton moved to New York where his relationships with Wilson and Richards led to work with the Yale Repertory Theatre. He made his Broadway debut in Wilson's "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom." He also appeared in Wilson's "Joe Turner's Come and Gone" and starred in Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "The Piano Lesson."

Dutton's feature film credits include "Against the Ropes," "Get on the Bus," "Mimic," "Crocodile Dundee II," "A Time to Kill," "Mississippi Masala," "Alien 3," "The Distinguished Gentleman," "Menace II Society," "Rudy," "Surviving the Game," "A Low Down Dirty Shame," "Cry, The Beloved Country," "D-Tox," "Random Hearts," "Cookie's Fortune" and "Secret Window."

On television, Dutton starred in the Emmy Award-winning "Something the Lord Made." He also starred with Jack Lemmon in the Emmy Award-winning mini-series "The Murder of Mary Phagan." He appeared in the mini-series "The '60s," "For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story," "Deadlocked," "The Piano Lesson" and the television movies "Zooman," "10,000 Black Men Named George" and "DC Sniper: 23 Days of Fear." Dutton has also made guest appearances in the series "The L Word," "Ed," "The Sopranos" and "Homicide: Life on the Street."

He directed the feature film "Against The Ropes," starring Meg Ryan, Omar Epps and Tim Daly, the mini-series "The Corner" and the television movie "First Time Felon." He also served as an executive producer on the limited series "Laurel Avenue."

Dutton lives near his native Baltimore. His birth date is Jan. 30.

CARLA GUGINO
(Dr. Molly Anne Caffrey in THRESHOLD)

Carla Gugino's television credits include the title role in the series "Karen Sisco." She has also appeared in the series "Chicago Hope," on CBS and "Spin City." She has starred in many television movies, including the CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation "A Season for Miracles," "A Private Matter," "The Motorcycle Gang" and "She Creature," and the mini-series "The Buccaneers."

Gugino's feature film credits include all three "Spy Kids" movies, "The Singing Detective," "The Center of the World," "The One," "The Jimmy Club" and "Sin City." Her additional film credits include "Snake Eyes," "The War at Home," "Michael," "Miami Rhapsody," "This Boy's Life," "Son in Law," "Lovelife" and "Troop Beverly Hills." She served as a producer and starred in the independent film "Judas Kiss."

Gugino made her Broadway debut in 2004 in the Roundabout Theater's revival of Arthur Miller's "After the Fall," for which she received an Outer Critics' Circle Award nomination and a Theater World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut.

She will next appear in "Jump Shot" and will soon begin work on "Rise," a thriller starring Lucy Liu.

Gugino was born in Sarasota, Fla., and raised in California. She lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is Aug. 29.

BRENT SPINER
(Dr. Nigel Fenway in THRESHOLD)

Brent Spiner first pursued his interest in acting while in high school and later at the University of Houston and other local colleges, while also launching his professional acting career at the Houston Music Theater and in the television movie "My Sweet Charlie."

Spiner starred as the android Data in "Star Trek: The Next Generation," the sequel to the original "Star Trek" television series. He has guest-starred in the series "Star Trek: Enterprise," "Joey," "Friends," "Frasier," "The Outer Limits," "Mad About You," "The Twilight Zone," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Night Court" and "Cheers." He has appeared in many television movies, including "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge," "Jack," "The Ponder Heart," "Kingfish: A Story of Huey P. Long," "Crazy from the Heart," "Family Sins," "Manhunt for Claude Dallas" and "Crime of Innocence," and the mini-series "Robert Kennedy & His Times."

Spiner was most recently featured in the Academy Award-winning film "The Aviator." He has also starred in four "Star Trek" features and had roles in a number of other films, including "Independence Day," "I Am Sam," "Stardust Memories," "Dude, Where's My Car?," "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut," "The Master of Disguise," "Phenomenon" and "Out to Sea."

He has appeared in a number of Broadway plays, including "A History of the American Film," "Sunday in the Park with George," "Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," "The Three Musketeers," "Life Times Three" and "1776," for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. In 1984, his role in the Los Angeles production of "Little Shop of Horrors" brought Spiner to that city, where he eventually took up permanent residence.

Spiner was born and raised in Houston. He lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is Feb. 2.

BRIAN VAN HOLT

Brian Van Holt's feature film credits include "House of Wax," "Black Hawk Down," "Windtalkers," "Basic," "S.W.A.T.," "Confidence," "Man of the House" and "Whipped."

He has also appeared in several television programs, including "Sex and the City."

Born in Waukegan, Ill., and raised in Huntington Beach, Calif., Van Holt lives in Venice, Calif. His birth date is July 6.
