ALIMI BALLARD

Alimi Ballard was in the series "Dark Angel" and "American Dreams." His other television credits include "Arsenio," and guest spots on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Nash Bridges," for the Network, "NYPD Blue," "Boomtown," "Philly," "She Spies," "The Division," "For the People" and the movie "The Little Richard Story." His first television role was in the daytime drama "Loving."

His feature film credits include "Men of Honor" and "Deep Impact."

Ballard got his start in acting in a local community center, when he was cast in the play "No Laughing Matter." Weeks later, he began touring New York's inner-city libraries, community centers and elementary and high schools. He then began working with theater companies such as the Manhattan Theater Club and the National Black Theater, where he starred in acclaimed productions of "Holiday Heart" and "Endangered Species."

Ballard lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Dawn, and daughter, Naya. His birth date is Oct. 17.

DIANE FARR

Diane Farr became a household name as co-host of the series "Loveline." She most recently starred as a female firefighter in the television series "Rescue Me." Her other television credits include "The Drew Carey Show," "Roswell," "The Job," "Like Family," "Bull," "Secret Agent Man" and "Arliss."

A published author, Farr's first book, The Girl Code, a comic look at single women in the 21st century, was released on Valentine's Day 2001 and has since been sold to seven countries and translated in to five languages.??? Farr has written for Glamour, Jane, Esquire, Maxim, Cosmopolitan, Soma and Self. She is also the owner and co-founder of the greeting card company OtherAnnouncements.com. After sending out hundreds of announcements for her own engagement, Diane found herself in need of another card when her fiancé abruptly called off their wedding. Farr's 'Engaged' card was well received but six weeks later her 'Single' card was such a hit it launched a company. Otherannouncements.com has since been featured in numerous magazines and talk shows including "Oprah," and will be in stores later this year. Farr has also sold a television series based on her personal experience called "Dumped."?

Farr has taught acting in a maximum security men's prison, owned and managed a New York City nightclub, traveled every continent of the world on her own and is a sponsored women's snowboarder.

Originally from New York, Farr currently resides in Los Angeles. Her birthday is Sept. 7.

JUDD HIRSCH

Judd Hirsch is probably best known for his portrayal of Alex Rieger in the classic television series "Taxi," a role that earned him two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series and nominations during every season of the show's run. Hirsch also starred as John Lacey in the series "Dear John," for which he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy, before starring opposite Bob Newhart in the comedy series "George & Leo," on CBS.

His eclectic résumé of feature film credits includes "King of the Gypsies," "Ordinary People," which garnered him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, "Without a Trace," "Teachers," "Independence Day" and "Man on the Moon."

His Broadway theater credits include Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park," "Knock Knock," Neil Simon's "Chapter Two," "Talley's Folley" (Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations), "I'm Not Rappaport" (Tony Award winner), "Conversations with My Father" (Tony Award winner and Outer Circle Critics Award winner), "A Thousand Clowns" and "Art."

Hirsch grew up in New York and studied engineering at the City College of New York and architecture at Cooper Union before studying acting at New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts and HB Studio.

Hirsch lives in New York City. His birth date is March 15.

DAVID KRUMHOLTZ

David Krumholtz continues to establish himself as a seasoned actor and will next be seen in the feature film "Serenity," the feature-length adaptation of Joss Whedon's television "Firefly."

He recently starred the Academy Award-winning film, "Ray" and "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle."

Krumholtz's additional feature film credits include "Slums of Beverly Hills," "The Mexican," "Sidewalks of New York," "Ten Things I Hate About You," "Liberty Heights," "The Santa Claus" and "The Santa Claus 2," as well as the upcoming "The Last Holdouts."

His television credits include the television movie, "Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie."

Krumholtz was raised in New York City and lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is May 15.

PETER MacNICOL
(Dr. Larry Fleinhardt in NUMB3RS)

Peter MacNicol made his stage debut in Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Crimes of the Heart" and was honored with the Theatre World Award for his performance. ?He continued his classical theater training, which began at the famed Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, and starred in several productions at Joseph Papp's prestigious New York Shakespeare Festival, including the title roles in "Richard II" and "Romeo and Juliet."

????????????MacNicol made his feature debut in "Dragonslayer," followed by "Sophie's Choice," "Ghostbusters II," "Addams Family Values," "Housesitter," "Dracula: Dead and Loving It" and "Bean." He recently appeared alongside Jamie Foxx in "Breakin' All the Rules."

????????????Most widely recognized as John Cage from "Ally McBeal," MacNicol won his first Emmy Award in 2001 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, after being nominated the previous two years. MacNicol starred in the series "Chicago Hope," for the Network, "The Powers That Be" and "Faerie Tale Theatre." ?His television movie credits include "The Ponder Heart," "Silencing Mary" and "Johnny Bull."

With a degree from New York University for its intensive filmmakers' intensive program, MacNicol directed episodes of "Boston Public" and "Ally McBeal." ?He is currently adapting a National Book Award finalist into a screenplay with which he intends to make his feature directing debut. ?
Raised in Dallas, Texas, MacNicol lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is April 10.

ROB MORROW

Rob Morrow is best known for his portrayal of Dr. Joel Fleischman in the hit television series "Northern Exposure," on the Network. His performance garnered him two Golden Globe Awards and three Emmy Award nominations for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series. He also starred in the series "Street Time," for which he directed select episodes.

His additional television credits include the movies "The Day Lincoln Was Shot" and "The Thin Blue Lie." He also starred in the mini-series "Only Love" and "Jenifer," both on the Network.

His feature film credits include the Academy Award-nominated film "Quiz Show," "Mother," "Last Dance" and "Into My Heart." He recently starred in "The Emperor's Club" and "The Guru," and he can be seen in the upcoming film "Shopping" and the short film "Night's Noontime." He also starred in "Maze," an independent feature that he wrote, directed and produced.

In addition to acting, he has directed episodes of "Joan of Arcadia" for the Network, as well as "Street Time" and "Oz," and the feature film "The Silent Alarm." He recently starred on Broadway in "The Exonerated," and is a founding member of the nonprofit ensemble Naked Angels.

Morrow resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. His birth date is Sept. 21.

NAVI RAWAT

Navi Rawat's television credits include "24" and "The O.C."

Rawat will next be seen in Project Greenlight's horror film, "Feast," for producer Wes Craven. Her additional film credits include the Academy Award-nominated drama "House of Sand and Fog."

Of German and East Indian descent, Rawat is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is June 5.
