STARS OF "THE EARLY SHOW" HOST "CBS EYE ON AMERICAN" IN JULY

In-Flight Program Delivers CBS News and CBS Sports Features and Exclusive "On Location: Las Vegas" Profiles of Music Legends Neil Sedaka and Barry Manilow

The stars of CBS's fast-growing THE EARLY SHOW do double duty in July as hosts of "CBS Eye on American."

On THE EARLY SHOW -- Harry Smith, Hannah Storm, Julie Chen, René Syler and Dave Price -- lead Americans through a mix of information and entertainment to start their day.

On the award-winning "CBS Eye on American," they'll guide viewers through CBS News features on the Internet poker craze (from the CBS EVENING NEWS); ultra-marathoners who compete on grueling 135-mile courses (from 60 MINUTES); and a hidden treasure of the Vatican (from CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING).

In addition, there are exclusive "On Location: Las Vegas" segments which go behind the scenes with two music legends: Neil Sedaka and Barry Manilow. And from CBS Sports comes a special look at America's Grand Slam: the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.

"CBS Eye on American" -- a 90-minute video magazine featuring a CBS host -- reaches millions of travelers each month on American Airlines with the most entertaining programming in the skies.

Each "CBS Eye on American" production includes features from the best of CBS, including CBS News, the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, CBS Sports and a full broadcast of a hit comedy such as THE KING OF QUEENS or TWO AND A HALF MEN. The program also includes features from Viacom cable networks such as VH1, BET, Nick at Nite, Showtime, TV Land and CMT.
