Jeremy Sisto stars as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine on the hit CBS series FBI, which is in its eighth season.
Sisto’s career has moved effortlessly between film, television and theater, and he has had an unwavering presence in the entertainment industry.Sisto made his first major impression on television as the bipolar artist Billy Chenowith on HBO’s “Six Feet Under.” In its five-year run, the show earned three Golden Globe Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards and 25 Emmy nominations.
His additional television series credits include starring roles in “Law & Order,” “Suburgatory,” “Ice,” “Wicked City,” “The Returned” and “Kidnapped.” Sisto regularly guest starred on FBI: MOST WANTED and FBI: INTERNATIONAL, on the Network. He also starred in National Geographic’s television miniseries “The Long Road Home.”
Sisto’s feature film credits include: the coming-of-age classic “Clueless”; “Break Point,” which he co-wrote and produced; “The Other Side of the Door”; “Hangman”; “Grand Canyon”; “Hideaway”; “Robot and Frank”; “Moonlight and Valentino”; “White Squall”; “Without Limits”; “Suicide Kings”; “Thirteen”; “Wrong Turn”; and “Waitress.” He also lent his voice to the animated films “Ferdinand,” which was nominated for an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Animated; and “Frozen II,” which earned a Golden Globe Award nomination in the same category. Sisto is set to star opposite Paul Rudd on “Rain Reign,” a feature adaptation of the bestselling novel by Ann M. Martin.
In New York, Sisto made his Broadway debut in “Festen,” a stage adaptation of Thomas Vinterberg’s film “The Celebration.” He also starred in Beau Willimon’s “Spirit Control” at the Manhattan Theater Club, about a man’s 30-year struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder. His Los Angeles theater credits include “Take Me Out,” which earned him a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Featured Performance; Sidney Kingsley’s “Dead End” at the Ahmanson Theater; and the one-man show “Sanguine” at the 2nd Stage.
A native of Grass Valley, Calif., Sisto currently lives in New York with his wife and their two children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, drums and piano. His birthday is Oct. 6. Follow him on X @JeremySisto and Instagram @sistosistosisto.
