In its  first year of a LIVE broadcast, THE 2019 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS features performances from some of the hottest contemporary names in R&B and Hip-Hop, honors Gospel icon Yolanda Adams as the "Lady of Soul," and pays tribute to super producers & songwriting duo, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as recipients of the "Legend Award" (sponsored by Ford). 

Connie Orlando, Executive Vice-President, Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET will serve as Executive Producer for the BET Presents: 2019 Soul Train Awards along with Jesse Collins and  Jeannae Rouzan–Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment.
