- Quote from Monde Twala, SVP and GM of Paramount Africa and Lead BET International
"We are thrilled to bring this powerful South African female boxing drama to BET audiences
in the USA. At BET International, we believe in the power of diverse storytelling, and this
series highlights the richness of African cultures while shedding light on the universal
struggles for gender equality and empowerment. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the hard
work of the talented cast and crew come to life on screen, and we hope that BET audiences
around the world will connect with the resilience and strength of these amazing women
boxers, while also gaining a deeper understanding of South African culture and the realities
that shape it. This is a story that transcends borders and speaks to great possibilities in and
outside the ring.”
