New York, NY – July 22, 2025 – VH1 today announced the return of its hit unscripted series My True Crime Story, featuring gripping episodes that will premiere weekly starting August 4 at 8 PM ET/PT only on VH1. Hosted by GRAMMY®-nominated rapper and actress Remy Ma, the series shines a light on everyday people who found themselves at the center of shocking criminal activity—and lived to tell the story.

Told in the first person by the individuals themselves, My True Crime Story dives deep into their rise, fall, and ultimate path to redemption. With Remy Ma’s compelling narration, each episode exposes the real cost of living outside the law, offering cautionary and inspiring tales of transformation.

New episodes include:

  • Shawn Serfass – Once on track for a college soccer scholarship, Shawn’s dreams unraveled due to addiction. Entrenched in the drug world with his girlfriend Mallory, Shawn ended up in prison—only to emerge as a dedicated father, mentor, and gym owner.
  • Jennifer Rogers – A homecoming queen turned meth addict and dealer, Jennifer's double life spiraled into chaos. After arrest and incarceration, she became a prison reform advocate and mother of three.
  • Nkosi Cain ("Diamond D") – From smash-and-grab thefts to calculated jewelry heists, Nkosi led a team of Brooklyn criminals before reforming. Today, he’s a CEO and criminal justice expert.
  • Michelle Fletcher & Francis – Michelle, born into credit card fraud, and her partner Francis defrauded tens of thousands, making her the first Black woman reportedly to steal $1 billion from the government. Now, Michelle is a best-selling author and entrepreneur, while Francis rebuilds communities through real estate.
  • Ricky "Freeway” Ross – One of the most notorious crack cocaine dealers in 1980s Los Angeles, Ricky once made $3 million a day. After reducing a life sentence, he is now a sought-after speaker and entrepreneur.
  • Demetria – Elevating her hustle to the skies, Demetria catered to celebrity clients with private flights—until her lavish scheme came crashing down.

 

My True Crime Story is produced for VH1 by Hot Snakes Media. Executive producers include Eric Evangelista, Shannon Evangelista, Naimah Holmes, and Desma Simon, with Remy Ma serving as co-executive producer. The show was developed by Eric Evangelista.
