NEW YORK, NY – JANUARY 22, 2024 – VH1’s hit series “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” returns with its midseason premiere on Monday, January 22 at 8 PM ET/ PT on VH1. Last year was a scorcher, but this year the 305 is on fire! The fifth season of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” continues to bring the heat, and there’s no slowing down in the music fast lane of Magic City with a hotbed of romance, temptation, heartbreak, and redemption.
It’s a sunny place for shady people, where everyone is chasing fame… and loyalty is a mirage. After a year of life-altering upheavals, self-transformations, and ongoing challenges, the series’ cast of iconic industry legends and new faces of up-and-comers up the ante – secrets come to light, relationships are tested, and careers hang in the balance. For these stars, there are only two options: rise above the ashes or get burned from the spotlight.
AMARA LA NEGRA is done playing the victim. After burning most of her bridges with a controversial Instagram Live, a bossed-up Amara is ready to set the record straight and reclaim her narrative. As she reignites her music career, conquers the 305 social scene, and pushes back on the haters who dismissed her as fake and phony, Amara is forced to confront unfinished business with ex-boyfriend SAFAREE – and with ALLAN, the father of her twin daughters. TRICK DADDY has his hands full. As he launches his new podcast alongside Miami icon SUPA CINDY, he continues to mentor his nieces – THE HOLLYWOOD TWINS - on their unlikely journey to rap stardom. But Trick is up against even greater odds as he attempts to spearhead an iconic concert celebrating South Florida’s contribution to 50 years of hip-hop. Can the beloved Mayor of the 305 manage the clashing visions of Miami’s musical heavy-hitters, or will outsized egos and logistical chaos force him to pull the plug on his ambitious undertaking?
As he weathers multiple controversies, SAFAREE doubles down on his intention to rehab his scandalous “stuntman” reputation. But that’s easier said than done, especially when he’s carrying on a secret situationship that could blow up the entire Miami social scene. And when a former flame – Panamanian bombshell ESTELITA QUINTERO - has just pulled into town with some piping hot tea. Will Safaree finally face the music – and take accountability for his messy ways?
BROOKE VALENTINE has arrived in the 305. With the support of her loyal husband – rapper/songwriter turned relationship expert MARCUS BLACK – the LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD fan-favorite is chasing a musical comeback inspired by her recent appearance on Tank’s “Tiny Desk Concert.” In their time away from the spotlight, Brooke and Marcus have matured into a picture-perfect couple – but the change-of-scenery is about to challenge their growth in a major way. As she finds herself immersed in Miami’s scandals and controversies, can Brooke stay focused on her musical mission, or will Ms. Valentine’s famously messy side come out for an encore performance?
The Norwoods want to prove that they can have it all. RAY J. and PRINCESS are managing a “tri-coastal” existence as they divide their time between L.A. (where the kids go to school), Vegas (where Princess plays poker), and Miami (where Ray is expanding his tech enterprise).

Further complicating Eliza’s new era is a secret relationship… that turns into a series of betrayals.
