New York, NY – March 8, 2024 – Critically acclaimed Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning and Academy Award®-nominated actor and producer Queen Latifah (series star/executive producer The Equalizer, CBS) will return to host the prestigious “55^th NAACP Image Awards” airing LIVE on Saturday, March 16, at 8:00 PM ET/PT on BET and the CBS Television Network. The festivities kick off at 7 PM ET/PT with the “55th NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet Live! On BET.

‘55th NAACP Image Awards” premieres Saturday, March 16 at 8:00 PM ET/PT – Legendary artist, actor, producer, author, and entrepreneur Queen Latifah returns to host the nation's preeminent multicultural awards show from an African American point of view. The event celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts. Grammy-nominated singing group New Edition will be inducted into the acclaimed NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame. NAACP will also recognize Award-winning writer, inaugural poet, and activist Amanda Gorman with the Chairman's Award during the live broadcast.
