New York, NY June 1, 2023 – BET names Grammy Award-Winning Roc Nation musician Ambré as its BET Amplified artist for June. BET Amplified is BET Music's stamp of approval for the next big thing in music. As BET celebrates Black Music Month and Pride month, the brand is proud to amplify powerful and talented up-and-coming Black artists that are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and Ambré is no exception.

From being discovered on Soundcloud back in 2014 to her most recently acclaimed 2022 release, 3000°, the New Orleans-bred musician’s rocketship to success shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. The Grammy® Award-winning songwriter recently garnered her first Billboard No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart with her single “I’m Baby” featuring British singer/songwriter Jvck James. If you didn’t catch Ambré headlining her Wild Magnolia Tour, you may have seen her performing at Essence Festival or heard her music featured on the HBO hit series “Insecure.” And now, fans won’t have to wait long for new music from the R&B sensation with the upcoming June release of her much-anticipated project, “Who’s Loving You” – which is sure to be a top contender for the album of the summer!

Ambré can now also add BET Amplified Artist to her list of accolades. As a BET Amplified artist, Ambré will receive BET Music’s support across multiple BET campaigns and platforms, including BET, BET Her, BET Jams, BET Soul, BET.com, BET Socials, and BET’s Official YouTube Page.

Previous BET Amplified artists include Armani White, Babyface Ray, Coco Jones, DIXSON, Doechii, Glorilla, HDBeenDop, Ice Spice, Kalan.FrFr, Lakeyah, Larry June, Lehla Samia, Lola Brooke, Muni Long, Nardo Wick, Tone Stith, and more!

ABOUT AMBRÉ:
Born and raised in the melting pot that birthed jazz music, this self-taught musician, producer, and writer has crafted an amazing work of art dedicated to her city – the aptly titled 3000°. The EP’s name initially came about as an ode to the classic projects from two New Orleans legends, Juvenile’s 400 Degreez, and Lil Wayne’s 500 Degreez. It also signifies the city’s traditionally hot climate, especially during the summer months.

“I’ve never felt as much at peace with a body of work that I’ve made as I have with this project,” Ambré – who was discovered on Soundcloud following her first release in 2014 – said of her EP. “Everything is perfect, all the stars have aligned… and that’s because of the intention that I put behind it, along with what everyone else who worked on it put behind it. It was made with love, and we made it for New Orleans.”

3000° is an 8-song letter of love to all the people, places and feelings that encompass the ‘504.’ Beginning with the song “3-Peat,” Ambré speaks about the success of her two previous releases – 2015’s Wanderlust and 2019’s Pulp – and how her fans and critics are anticipating another album of the same caliber.
